IT, SOFTWARE, AND WEB EXPERIENCE

* Designed and developed applications in both PHP and C#.NET to collect data
  and store it in a form that Excel could use. These applications also allowed
  complete editing/updating of problem records in the data file.

APPLICATION PROGRAMMING

* Designed drilling-control software with serial and parallel hardware
  interfaces.  The software insured a repeatable manufacturing process,
  saving time and money
* Converted a paper-nomogram (equations, interrelated graphs, and written
  instructions) on copper-pipe water pitting propensity to an application
  program.
* Developed data conversion programs.
* Developed programs, including databases, using BASIC, VB.NET, C, C++,
  C#.NET, SQL (MySQL, MS, and ORACLE), B-trieve and db_Vista.
* Developed a Perl DB_File database for a customer web site and enhanced the
  web site with DHTML and JavaScript.


PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT / MANAGEMENT

* Managed the development of a family of water flow measurement instruments,
  progressing from prototype debug and firmware integration through the
  transition to manufacturing. This product family became a profitable best
  seller.
* Managed a multi-program, multi-year project developing software to address
  corrosion problems for the electric power industry. This five-year project
  was completed within budget
* Designed and managed the NACE-NIST Corrosion Data Center's software coding
  standards and code-library system.


LASER OPTICS CONSULTANT

* Built and aligned a high-power IR laser for sample destruction tests.
* Developed control software for precision laser timing and sample
  positioning.
